hey everyone I am a new member and am looking for some advice while I start on my next fresh canvas.

Truck is a 2011 silverado ext cab 4x4. so far I installed a bed liner, tonneau cover and put in stainless steel bolts in the rear pumpkin (looks cool). In the mail I have commin a 4'' BDS suspension with fox shocks and lift springs for the rear instead of blocks. (should be here tommorrow or monday) also in the mail is inner fenderwells for the rear, mudflaps and a chrome bowtie for the front. im going to run my stock 18s and 31's for now until i can save up enough to rim and tire it all at once hopefully wont be too long.

Questions are im looking for input on a few other mods like CAI, exhaust, programmers, gears, stuff like that. also im not heart set on tires yet if anyone has a tire they like please let me know, im looking for something that is great on the road and will last a while but wont fail me when im out in the backwoods lookin for deer.

it looks like this forum is alot better than others for actual useful information other than one guy bashin on another :uhoh: Thanks!

Congrats! Sounds like a really nice list

Take a look at Cooper Zeon LTZ tires. I got 50,000 out of a set and could have gone longer. They are awesome. Cold air intake really isn't worth it.. .unless your just looking for the cool factor. You can't go wrong with Corsa or Magnaflow depending on budget and Black bear performance has most of the site users trucks tuned including myself.

Obviously be sure to post photos when the lift and other goodies is installed and Welcome to the site.

I had a set of cooper st on my last GMC and loved them but they suck in the rain. ill def post pics of the chev after i get the lift on. work actually has me leaving this weekend for MI and ill be out of town for 2 weeks. so i wont be able to get the truck in the air until mid november! not very happy about it but what can you do :uhoh: ill look into black bear iv never herd of it. will that do anything with my warrenty?? i think not but figured id ask. also as far as programmers go in general is it really worth it? i dont mind payin if its goin to really help me out. im guessin the 33x12.5's will rob alot of hp after installed.

Well, unless you get a spare PCM, you do run the risk of putting your warranty in jeopardy. But any program will do that. And yes... it does make a difference. I've had him tune my previous truck as well as my new one. No question in my mind.

check out www.blackbearperformance.com He's also a site vendor too
