Ext Cab Rear Seat Removal?

anyone removed the rear seats? i've got an extended cab with the 60/40 seats in the rear. i use the extended cab for storage not for people. i've kept the larger seat folded up to make it easier to throw in my gym bag etc... i'd like to just remove the seat instead of keeping it folded up.

 

after a quick look it appears the rear seats are actually a single seat - i can't just take one out? i'd consider leaving the seat back on to cover the back wall but i don't see how the seat bottom comes off.

 

is it possible to remove just a seat bottom? or is the entire rear seat assembly basically 1 piece and i'm stuck just keeping the seats folded up?

The rear 60/40 seat is two separate pieces,but the seat bottoms cannot be removed separately,you can remove one whole side,or both,but not just the bottoms.
