Just bought a 2006 Silverado 1500. There are two bulbs below the headlights on both sides of the truck. One is amber in color (outside bulb), the other is clear (3156). The inner clear bulbs will not come on either side, regardless of what position the headlight switch is turned to in the cab. Already replaced both bulbs with no luck. Any ideas?

If I am understanding you correctly I believe those are your daytime running lights (DRL's) and those are only on when your vehicle is in gear. Have someone sit in the truck with it in drive and you will see them on

That is correct, those are the day time running lights, will only come on when the vehicle is in gear.
