Mine wasn't hard to do at all, the speaker I bought came with a 10' wire and a plug that went straight into the PA jack on the back of the CB.

 

If I were to do it all over again I'd buy a huge speaker and a dedicated PA amp so people could REALLY hear what was on my mind, to be honest I mainly used my PA for karaoke purposes, making weird noises at people, and lastly yelling at people.

I have just a little Cobra cheapy with a magnetic mount antenna(mounted in the center of the roof),works good enough to talk to other trucks when off-roading.Fits nicely where the CD player used to be.

Mines just a cheapy, I hate the mag mounts tho, looking for something elses

got some pics of my cb setup while i was out this afternoon. i desperately need to get an swr meter and tune it, the signal is all over the place.

I went with a "export" stryker 447 hpc, and a wilson little wil mag mount

As the weather warms up i may look into a better antenna
