gmt900, fogs with hi's

i jsut noticed the other day that when i put my fog lights on all 4 lights come on, lo and hi beams, beats having to do it like i did on my 06, but id like to have my fogs stay on with my hi beams as well, is it the same procedure as the gmt800 trucks where i just connect a diode in the fuse box under the hood from the hi beams to the fog lights?

i know it has, and ive done it to my gmt800 because of a thread i found through here last year, but i havent found anything for the gmt900 thats why i asked if its the same process or not
