Advent OGM-1 Ability to load and sync contacts?

I have an 08 2500HD Sierra. Hands free is critical for me. I am thinking about trading for a 2012 Super Duty just because of the Ford Microsoft SYNC ability.

However, I just heard about the Advent OGM-1

Can the OGM-1 load and sync phone contacts? I have 2,100 contacts in my android phone. During our busy season we add about 4 new contacts per day. My office adds the contacts and then I need the ability, while driving, to just say, "Call John Smith" and be able to call this new customer without looking down at my phone etc.

The way it works is I am driving and someone from the office says - "I just entered in a new lead for you - could you call them right away - the guy's name is John Smith". I need to be able to hangup the call with the office and using hands free - say "Call John Smith".

It would be nice if it automatically re-synced occasionally, but it is OK if I have to manually re-sync contacts - I could do this a few times per day when we are adding lots of new leads.

The Advent will definitely sync contacts from the phone to the address book, no problem. I think your problem may be the number of contacts you have! Obviously, that's a HUGE number, and before you trade your truck in, you may want to MAKE SURE that the SYNC system will allow you to accept and access them all - it would be a real shame to do it specifically for that feature and run into an issue with their system.

As far as we've been told, the Advent is capable of syncing 1,000 contacts per device for the first five devices. I will find out whether that total can be dedicated to one device or not. Watch this space...

The Advent does have voice dialing capability as long as the phone has that capability.
