Snow Plow on 99 Silverado

Looking to put a plow on my 99 new body style silverado.  Has anyone had any experience with this meaning brands.  Leaning towards a fisher and also if anyone is in the ny area and has a line on a place to get either newer used unit or cheaper new 7.5 minutemount would be appreciated.  Also to save some money would you consider mounting yourself meaning are there any holes that need to be drilled.  The electrical components i think i could handle just the drilling of the frame i am not to keen on.

I have a Hiniker plow on my truck. It doesn't require any holes to be drilled in the frame.

A friend at work has a plow on his '99 1/2 ton Silverado.  I don't know what brand it is though....  (Sorry)
