Hey guys. looking at

LT285/65R18 32.83 x 11.93 trail grapplers

or

LT285/60R18 31.50 x 11.50 terra grapplers.

Only have a 1.5" level. will I be able to pull off the trail grapps?? and if so, what offset rim do you recommend so theres no rub but get maximum width to be flush with my bushwackers which stick out 3/4" more than normal? not concerned about height. Any help appreciated! id love to be able to pull off the 305/60/r18s trails....

With a 1.5" level... I would say NO to the larger trail grapplers.

For example, a common size people run with a 2" level, without rubbing, is 285/70/R17 (32.7" tall x 11.22" wide), and that is on stock rims. The more negative offset you go (the more the wheel "sticks out"), the more likely the wheel will rub when turned. So you wouldn't be able to get away with a bigger wheel and more offset, with your smaller 1.5" leveling kit...

I've got 285/70/17's on +10mm offset wheels (stock are +31mm), and only had to do a small amount of plastic trimming to get them to fit (with a 2" level). They poke out maybe 0.25"... to get the 0.75" you're looking for, you'd probably need to go with a negative offset wheel and a smaller diameter tire.

hope some of this helped.
