Silverado Door Wiring harness- Question

are all the wiring harness's the same in the new Silverado's?, power fold, heat, signal, etcc??....

I thought they were and my dealer did too. I have a 2011 SLE HD EC. I wanted to upgrade from the standard power adjust, heated to the auto dim, power fold, heated ,signal ones. My prior truck an '09 SLE had them so I figured the wiring's there. After 3 months the dealer said they could not make them work.

 

I even offered to give up the folding aspect for the dimming and the signals, but they said they still wouldn't work. Only way would have been to have purchased an SLT model that had those mirrors.

 

I'd like to find out my dealer was wrong.
