OGM-1 losing infrared signal for rear entertainment?

Recently had an Advent OGM-1 installed in my 2007 Tahoe with Bose system and rear entertainment. Awesome radio and functionality; however, I keep losing my infrared signal to the wireless headphones after a few minutes of playing the rear lcd. I have no clue as to what may be causing this and it worked fine with the old factory radio. Has anyone experienced this particular problem and maybe has some suggestions to get it working properly? I have even thought maybe wiring it to my AUX ignition and keeping it running at all times may be a solution but i thought i would ask here first with so many OGM-1 users.
