that's a lot of tire. The truck will at least need to be leveled to get thos to not rub.

 

9" wide wheel may be pushing it.... but I couldn'y tell you for sure. An 8" would be safer.

Don't people put 285/75/16 on stock rims? The tire size calc shows 285/70/17 is a smidge smaller than those.

yeah, the tire will work on a stock rim, which is 8".

 

I'm just not sure if the 9" wide wheel will push the tire out too much... I have no idea. If you're backspace is off the tire will rub.
