2012 Silverado Navigation (Is there a way to play DVD's in Motion?

Hello All!

 

I have a 2012 Silverado LTZ with the factory Navigation, option code UYS.

 

My question is if there is a way around being able to play DVD's, while in drive, for the kids.

 

I know some systems could be manipulated to do so, but I'm not sure about mine.

you want the Lockpick device, I think you might need to check with them on which version since the Nav unit changed in 2012 and the wiring is different..

Coastaletech does not have a part for this.

 

Only option we've heard of so far is the Barracuda from NavTV, but this override has a problem that evidently is not going to be able to be solved ant time soon (based on our last conversation with them): Although you can override the "locked out" features, they will only stay locked out until you come to your next full stop!

 

Contact NavTV to see if they've fixed it.
