Does anyone like or have Yokohama Geolandar A/T Plus II Tires?  Tires Plus here in the Twin Cities have them for cheap... for 90 bucks pre one.

I got 'em.  I like them a lot.  I can go trail driving with them in the mud with no problems.  They're great in the snow and ice.  However, I wouldn't reccomend heavy offroading with them, they lack the aggressiveness.  They are very quiet on the highway, though.  If you want a good all-terrain but do mostly onroad, but the occasional offroad driving.  They're great.  I've had them for about 25,000 miles now and still love them.

How is the wear on them?  I dont want a tire that will only last 30,000 miles.  Do you have a pics?

I had these tires on my Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited before I got my Tahoe.  The vehicle was full time 4wd and had like 345 ft. lbs. of torque.  But....The Mileage SUCKED!!! I had them for maybe 15,000 miles before they were balder than Bruce Willis.  I immediatly bought Michelin LTX AT's afterword and had 30,000 miles on them and looked new when I sold the truck.  They are an awesome looking tire and great riding.  They offroad very well for what they are.  The mileage is terrible but you can buy 2 sets of those before you buy one set of Michelin's.  Just my 2 cents.

I have to disagree.  I have these tires on my truck as well.  I'm pushing 20,000 miles and they still look pretty good.  I'm expecting a good bit over 30,000 miles out of them.  I dont baby my truck either...not sure someone only got 15,000 out of them...seems a bit strange.  Anyways, I love these tires and will buy them again when the time comes.  Two thumbs up.

EDIT:  If you had the old version of these tires (not the +2) then the mileage did suck bad.  This might be why someone only got 15,000 miles.  Just make sure they are the newest version (+2's).  I think they use a newer rubber compound to get better mileage.

Well, I'm getting Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo because its on sale also for 20 bucks more per tire. And I only here good things about them too.

i know this a littel late but i must agree with bogey i had them on my 2000 Z71 and i only got like 25,000 miles out of them. which imo is not acceptable. so your expecting to get 30,000 and are happy with this???? anyway  they were great tires. i even pulled  my buddys truck out of some pretty nasty muddy crap, which by the way i was in too. in other words i wasnt on dry land pulling him out i was in the same mud hole and they worked great  and thats when they were fairly worn. i would have bought them again if they wore a little better . got bfg's now

Well when I said over 30,000, I meant I should see almost 40,000 miles.....considering I paid $85 a tire, I cant complain when the performance has been very good....mud, snow, sand...etc.

My friend had a set of the +2's on his '99 'rado.  He said they were pretty good but he only got between 20,000 and 25,000 miles out of them before he had to get a new set.  I was going to get a set for my '00 but when I checked into them at the tire shop my dad's friend owns, he said they had a tendancy to be out of round and wore out too fast.  I went with the Nitto Terra Grappler A/T's and don't regret it one bit.  Great tire.

Just my 2 cents.
