Loop-Hoop Steps – Carr / Bully.. Who’s got ‘em installed.

The simple loop or hoop side steps – Carr, Bully, Go Rhino..etc... Who’s got ‘em installed.

 

After looking at all the Nerf bars, running boards, side steps…. I think I’m going to go with some type of loop / hoop steps for my ’12 Sierra.

 

It seems that all the loop side drill into the rocker panel / pinch weld, that worries me a little being in NY with the road salt they use and it rusting in future yrs.

 

Real Truck has a pretty decent selection of different manufactures and slightly different styles…. So I’m just asking for input from who has them and how you like / dis-like them.

The rocker mount is the way the factory nerf bars mount. I wouldn't recommend bars that mount using the factory body mount bolts too many issues. I have a set of go rhino dominator 2s for 2011 Chevy crew cab that I had on my truck for about 3 weeks.$250+shipping.

M22, I’m just looking at the loop steps, and not a full length nerf bar or running board, Thanks for your input.

 

Can someone comment about on how far do these loops steps hang down?

 

There are only a few pictures on the internet, and it looks like all the hoop / loop steps, no matter which the manufacture is, they seem to hang down quite a ways.

 

I like the loops, but looking for a simple step that sticks out just below the rocker panel, and not out and down.

 

Any input is appreciated.
