OGM1: get live traffic w/iPhone Motion-X GPS Drive app

If you have an iPhone and want to be able to very easily get a live traffic display on your OGM1, you can download the "Motion-X GPS Drive" app from the App Store (99 cents a month for the app) and use it with the JLINKUSB cable to output it's map views to the OGM1's iPod or AV IN sources.

 

There are other decks like the JVC and Pioneer units that have free live traffic built in, so why would you pay extra for this capability if you could choose a different deck that has it, or when you've already spent big money on the OGM1?

 

In our opinion, the OGM1 is still the biggest bang for the buck in terms of features and retention of factory features, but we freely admit that it's lacking a critical feature: live traffic display. If you can get live traffic capability on the deck for 99 cents a month, it makes it pretty much unbeatable.
