Project truck 305/LT1 running very rich...out of ideas. Help!

I am new to the forum so please let me know if this is in the wrong place and i will gladly relocate it. I recently got a project truck from my grandfather that needed to be tinkered with to get running properly...and well i am out of ideas.

 

 

The problems-

The truck has a very rough idle. It fluctuates like its misfiring between 750-950 rpm. As the truck gets warmer it idles higher and higher slowly. It is spitting white smoke out of the back as the idle gets higher. During driving it misfires and feels weak low end, feels fine at wide open throttle. After driving and going into park or neutral the idle jumps to 2k rpm until turned off and restarted.

When i got the truck it was idling rough and then choking on itself and dying, i noticed the vacuum lines were leaking and some were even plugged. I put new vacuum lines on and the truck began running better and stopped choking up, not good, but better.

 

What i have tried-

-Vacuum lines

-pulled iac valve and cleaned. tested by unplugging and it is functioning

-replaced coolant temp sensor number SU 109 (to pcm)

-Pulled plugs (all were very dark colored in oil) cleaned very well with wire brush and carb cleaner, looked new upon reinstalling.

- New plug wires

-tested tps by unplugging, seems to be functioning.

 

I am not sure what else i could try. Any suggestions are welcome. It seems to be idling fine for a few and then all of a sudden it will just start throwing a bunch of fuel at it. Thanks
