Electrical problems on a 1996 chevrolet silverado

My chevy truck is having a few issues with electrical. First my brake lights stay on,(changed brake light switch). Second, when my heater is switched to high two dash lights would flash my emergency brake light and my abs along with my gear shift indicator light,(replaced the heater/ac switch). Now my truck won't start. Have power but when you turn the key so the motor can crank nothing. My brake lights still stay on, my heater doesn't work, my shift indicator light goes out has anyone had this problem? My name is Jay.

Battery is good shows 12.9 on meter.

battery needs to be LOAD tested

Get that battery load tested as stated. Most auto parts stores do it free

Battery was tested it was good, changed the ignition switch wiring (thought it might be a short, it's still doing the same thing). Brake lights stay on when you turn the key to the on position, push the brake pedal and they go off. the heater/ac blower motor doesn't even come on. I am totally at a loss.

Did you check the integrity of your battery cables and connections? Clean all grounds?

Any chance you found the solution to your problem? I have a Chevy Cheyenne of the same year and have almost he exact same problem. The only difference is mine still starts (for now). I've gone through all of the diagnostics on this forum so far and have some up with nothing. Any advice?

Thanks for the advise,, i had double checked everything stated in this forum. I still have the same issue. one added piece of information i discovered is that I have 12 volts in my black (ground) wire on both my heater fan motor (when not connected to the motor), and i have 12 volts on my black ground wire for my tail lights when the key is on.
