2009 5.3 clunk!!!!

Hi, well I got a 2009 5.3 4speed with 3.73s, and well at times when coming to a stop I feel a heavy clunk right before I stop (at a very low speed) almost feels like if an engine mount is loose, but I don't think that's the case, all ready went over that. While at a stop sometimes I feel a light clunk in the front end as well. My 2011 cc had the the drive line clunk, that was the slip yolk, but this one feels different its more of a front end clunk, all though I love the truck it's annoying. There's a picture of the truck! It only has 31k miles!

I always liked the grille on the GMC's better than my Chevy. Sharp looker there.

 

Mine has had that clunk since it broke in. Fixed the slip yoke clunk by greasing the splines, but this one remains - it sounds like the rear diff, or the transmission. It usually does it on light throttle upshifts. I've just learned to live with it, and chaulk it up to poor / cheap manufacturing practices.

It's like I said to me it's more of a front end clunk! My 4.8 had the drive line clunk, I'm probably gonna take it to the dealer to have it checked out, only problem is I got to find the time, I love my truck! It's my third gm truck, the clunk is annoying as hell though!
