Adding a backup camera?

I was wondering if a backup camera from another gm truck would mount directly to my nav if I ran the wire? Not sure if anyone has attempted this before

Possible, but it would probably be a LOT of work to do it (we've installed the factory kits before, but they are a BIG TIME PITA), then you have to get your current deck programmed by a GM dealer to accept it.

Well I own a Tech II so would I still need to take it to the dealer? Also what's needed for the install?
