Better looking interior?

So, I have been driving around in my project truck, 2005 Colorado, and I have noticed that the dash and instrument cluster looks and feels 100% better than my 2006 Silverado! Dash feels solid and not plastic like as my 06, the instrument cluster looks cooler and more modern. Anyone else notice this in their Colorado or just a Colorado in general?
