Non-chamfered pads with slotted rotors

I just ordered a set of Akebono PROAct pads for my truck. I also have some powerslot slotted rotors as well. I already had them with the Hawk pads but i'm getting rid of those.

 

Are there any issues with running a non-chamfered pad with slotted rotors?

 

I thought the PROAct pads were supposed to be chamfered? The website says they are and I even called Akebono directly and they said they were as well. I also called Advanced and they had a set in stock and they looked at them in the box and said they were chamfered as well.

 

I'm wondering if they put the wrong pads in the box.

 

For those that have used the Akebono pads, were yours chamfered?

If I remember right, mine were chamfered. I have the PROActs on my Sierra

I'm thinking I got the wrong pads. Gonna check around tomorrow before i Leave on vacation and see what's going on.
