Just ordered Dmax HD 2500. What perf stuff

I probably will but a hot juice box, but I would like to improve exhaust flow, but I don't like it noisey. Any advise?

Pillar gages? Who's?

If you are planning on getting the juice, then I would definetly get some aftermarket gauges (EGT, Boost)

You will be making some seroius power with the hot juice.

That's kind of a catch 22. You're gonna have to open up that exhaust if you're gonna run hot juice. The exhaust, whoever's you end up getting, will reduce your EGT's by as much as 200*F. When you step on the gas, you can see on the gauges how fast the EGT's go up. It is instant. I would recommend either Banks or Bully Dog on the exhaust. I have the bully dog and love it. It's got a great growl to it, but it's not that loud in the cab and works very well. I also have autometer mechanical boost and electric pyrometer on a pillar. That is a must before any perf. upgrades like Juice, Maximizer, etc.

I would go with the Kennedy exhaust. I have heard nothing but good things about it. I have also heard good things about Banks, but also heard of some early rusting issues or something. I can't remember exactly.

From what I read, if you plan on the Juice, get the intake and exhaust opened up a bit.

I am kind of looking at the new Predator programmer. It sounds more like a Hypertech and is a bit cheaper than the Juice. The Juice has been very good so far and is very popular.

I must advise everyone to be careful of product testimonials, a certain vendor posts and/or has his salespeople troll forums and post testimonials that appear as customers which is very misleading. He is a peddler mentioned in a previous post, business name includes his last name, he seems to be only able to make sales by using the internet and posting misleading testimonial promotions in forums. I can only assume Roofer had read the misleading posts too. There have been many reports of problems with his products, service and false or overinflated claims, especially the KD exhaust, the least of which was it being the loudest to the worst of terrible install difficulties, fit problems and rattles that have lasted for a couple years. The same couple colorful characters (often aliases are used too) come out to attack those who speak out about the problems.

Here is a link to a thread where you will read of the problems and see the attacks and attempts to cover it up. The vendor cried, had a tantrum and kept pressuring to have the topic deleted, it appears they gave in an removed some, but a few with details on the problems remain.
