95z71performer Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Is this a good alternative to replacing carpet on the interior versus new carpet because I'm planing on replacing the carpet due to some stains and a burn near the four wheel drive and I know bedliner has the advantage of easier cleaning
Mike-1000 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 My truck came with some kind of plastic insulated pad that covered the floor instead of carpet. I preferred the carpet so had it changed. There might be something like that available for your truck. I think any insulation would help keep any heat or cold away and also protect any wires that might be under there. The plastic would sure be easier to clean. Mike
95z71performer Posted January 6, 2014 Author Posted January 6, 2014 I thought about that with wires and I think a piece of 1 inch pipe cut in half with a bracket over it would work to cover them too but the plastic liner is something I'll look into for sure
Mike-1000 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I found this place online. I've never used them but they seem to carry many different models in carpet or vinyl. You have to do a lot of scrolling to find a specific model and cab. http://www.auto-interior.com/chevy45.htm#Extended Mike
