z55 bypss issues

I posted this in the 2500hd thread as well. I installed new gabriel shocks and resistors to bypass the z55 auto ride in my 2000 Suburban K2500 yesterday. I unhooked the neg battery terminal for over an hour and I still have the service ride control light on. It is not on when I start the truck, it comes on after driving it 50' down my driveway. It used to come on as soon as I backed out of my garage, some improvement I guess? I talked to the guy I bought the resistors from and he said this is the first he has seen them not work. My system does not have the air compressor, its the electronic shocks. Magnetic I believe. I do not know what else to do to get the light to go out and its driving me nuts! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
