Okay I have a 2012 gmc denali 2500 duramax with about 12,000 miles on it. I had a weird thing happen tonight.

Let me start of by saying its -3 degrees out right now. So I pull my truck up in front of my work building and as I'm Turing into my stall...the trans felt like it slipped into neutral nut then engaged again and the check engine light came one. I then hit my OnStar button and they reported the P0756 and a secondary code of P700.

Now when I started it in didn't let it warm up since I was only moving it about 100 yards or so.. Could that have something to do with it?

I drove it the 40 miles home and it felt normal and my mpg stayed around 18mpg which is normal. It will shift though all the gears as well.

I'm supposed to be driving it on a hunting trip about 5 hours one way. Will it be okay? Is this something major or a glitch possibly?

Thanks for the help.

Chris

It was an easy fix. Just needed a reset and a little fluid added. However the knock sensors in the engine were bad as well so they removed the intake and replaced those
