Ford eats it

Last night, we started getting a little freezing rain here in OK. Not a big thing really. But it just amazes me how people just don't think sometimes.

I'm driving along a four lane road close to my house, and there is a Ford Ranger "Edge" a bit ahead of me.

Came up on an overpass, and he didn't even slow down. Temp is in the 20s, freezing rain.......Retard.

He didn't make it 20 feet onto the bridge before he turned sideways, and smacked the concrete wall...From which he immediatly rebounded, and just so the other concrete barrier didn't miss out on all the Ford-bashing fun to be had...He smacked that one too.

He did this pinball thing three times. Right in front of me. I almost did the same thing because I was laughing so hard.

He was going under 30, but I still stopped to make sure he was OK. All he said was "d### anti-lock brakes don't work worth a s###!"

Yeeeeah, anti-lock brakes. Tell that to the dealer pal.

Made a soup sandwich out of that little truck. Plastic all accross the road.

Too bad the dude had to learn the hard way, but no amount of ABS or other man-made gadget (short of jet assists) is gonna help you when your vehicle's inertia has completely overcome what little friction there is left!
