Changing the battery

I am going to change the battery in my 2008 Silverado 1500 LTZ with the 5.3 engine. How do I avoid losing all the presets - mirrors, seats, pedals, radio?

Connect a temp battery up to the positive post in the under hood fuse panel, ground terminal to ground. You can also connect positive terminal of temp battery to the same spot the current battery positive cable connects to. You only need to use a 14 gauge wire.
