99 blazer leak at encoder motor

Got fluid leaking out bottom of encoder motor. It was replaced about 3 years ago at the dealer. Been leaking a little for quite some time. I had to add about 3/4 quart of fluid to transfer case to get it back to proper level. I looked back at my old receipt and noticed they only replaced the motor. Did a little research and noticed there is a insulator/gasket that goes behind it. They did not replace it. I guess they just used the old one over. 4 wheel drive is working ok. Any one have any experience working on one of these?

it needs a shifter shaft seal,,,

The parts diagram I looked at just shows the insulator which looks like it has a seal built into it.. Is the seal part of it? Or is an o-ring supposed to be back there? Doesn't show anything like a regular oil seal. I thing when I get a chance I'm going to pull it off and see what's going on behind it.

Does the needle bearing have a seal built into it? Cause the parts diagram's I've looked at don't show a separate seal. I'm on vacation in 3 weeks, I'm going to pull the encoder motor off and see what's going on behind it.

Thanks for info. I'm hoping their is a seal I can just pop out and replace and that the bearing is not loose.
