Shocks for improved ride

Recommended Posts

Tough winter here in New England.

Roads look like the Hồ Chí Minh trail after the B52 strikes.

Current Monroe Reflex Monotubes offer nice controlled / firm ride on smooth pavement, but I find, with current road conditions, the ride punishing.

Anyone offer experience with improved ride units?

I prefer the stiffer suspension set up myself, last truck I had the same shocks as you, I then switched to ProComp's ES9000's which were even stiffer and more controlled/planted in cornering on the road which I liked. Not sure what a softer shock would be but how long have you had your Monroe's?

...how many miles on the shocks?

Normal +/- 36K. Doesn't have much to do with the OP.
