2014 Sierra Denali

Dear Members, I've just come from a first service and 2 of my gripes were dismissed as 'normal' I'd like to know if any of you have experienced the following. 1. My steering seems to 'lock' in place on sort turns. It's an odd sensation that I'm not used to but the steering will 'hold' on a soft turn. 2 I get a chirp thru the rear window (presumably exhaust) with any slight pressure on the accelerator pedal. The steering I don't know about but the chirp is probably the valve opening in the muffler.
