How Hard Is It To Change An Idler Arm & Front Pivot Assembly?

"I suppose its not the best practice, but the one part that can be tricky is running the self-locking bolt up; it wants to spin the pivot as it goes, and until the taper is snug there's not an easy way to hold it from spinning if the locking nut has too much resistance going on."

What I do is take an open end wrench and take up the space behind the nut and let it suck the taper in place. Then back off and take the wrench out and then tighten the nut up all the way.

Good tip!
