LS2 intake > LQ9 intake?

Found a good deal on a used ls2 intake, is it worth it for my lq9 mild build before I put the engine in? Any solid advantages?

If it is a LS2 truck intake off of a TBSS it is worth a little gain but not a lot

Is it worth $200?

Correction: it is a brand new intake manifold, and he also has a set of ls1 241 heads with ls6 springs for $300.. Worth the $500?

It isnt 200. Factor in rails, injectors, throttle body, x-link, injector pig tails, pcv re-route, and map sensor. You are looking at over $5-600. To me ig isnt worth it

Chris,

I have very much enjoyed reading this thread from the beginning and seeing the work you've put into your truck; it's a beauty.

I'm going to start uprading a 2005 Sierra 1500 Z71.

Regarding your steering wheel upgrade: Was the necessary wiring already in the column? Was it mainly a matter of figuring out how to hook up the additional wiring for the buttons, or did you have to buy and add a wiring harness from an SLT etc?

Thanks,

Glenn

Need a clock spring from a truck that came with buttons on the wheel. Then dealership programming after it is all done
