rental went in for a powertrain vibration issue...update

hello all. I don't currently own a gm 1500 pickup, but I have a '12 equinox 2LT. 2 weeks ago someone rear ended me and I had to get a rental for 1 day so the insurance adjuster could go value the minor rear bumper damage. Im following this forum because by 2016 I plan to purchase a sierra 1500. I live about 85 kms one way and I knew beforehand about the vibration issues some here are experiencing. anyways for that one day, I was on the highway and around 110km/h to 140 km/h there was a lot of vibration in the steering wheel. when I returned the truck the next day I let them know I was experiencing vibration issues, dude checked the computer at the rental office and he said there is a new recall and it will go in. fast forward 2 weeks till today, my equinox is getting repaired till Monday and I requested the same truck. they told me it just got back today from having the powertrain vibration warranty/recall on it and so on the way home again (85km highway) same EXACT symptons. 100-140 km/h vibration.

also since its a Silverado, it has the little dimple in the chrome bumper on the passenger corner that is barely visible. are the newer build dates getting the bumpers with the dent/dimple in em?

Just thought id let yall know and since I have this truck till Monday morning, if there is anything yall need me to check for you let me know. its a crew with 4x4 and 5.3L. LT model
