2008 Silverado electrical short

this problem it happens the worst when its hot out, I'll be stopped at a light and the traction control quits, the radio will go off and all of my gauges will go to zero then as soon as I let off of the brake they will come back, it was the absolute worst when I was towing a trailer the other day. my lights will also flicker when I step on my brake and sometimes my cruise control will quit when I use my blinkers. it seems like it maybe a ground problem (I've checked the new battery and engine block grounds, they are good) or maybe one of the main circuit breaker maybe going bad. has anyone else had this problem? thanks, Bart

There is no main circuit breaker , you have to get the battery checked by a shop , you have a power problem that putting on the brakes eats up juice and flips the whole system into a tail spin ,,,don't tell me it's new ,, you have to start here , have charging system checked by a shop not you with a meter
