Interior questions

Ok, so I have a 1989 gmc k1500. Kinda inherited from my buddy. Thing is, the interior needs a lot of work. Needs a seat, carpet, some dash work and a new steering column. My question is what will interchange with my truck that won't require a whole lot of modification to make it all work. I'm new to the gm world so some insight would be nice. Thank yall!!

Take a look at the LMC catalog. Most of their parts are identified by a range of years. That will give you an idea of what year models will have the same parts.

Check ebay by searching part numbers. Try VPI vintage parts inc, white racing products, and try the dealer for interior parts also. Always worth a shot
