I got this great idea to replace my daytime running lamps with red APC LED's.  It looked freakin awesome with the first one in, but the second one caused my fuse to blow!  It looked so tight that I wouldn't accept it not working, and ended up blowing $5 worth of fuses.  D'oh.  But dangit it looked so cool.  They just suck too much power.

Well if you think they look cool then here is a web site for ya.

Light Lens

LB3157R Is the light bulb you need.

Keep in mind it could be illegal to have red lights facing forwards..........  Woulndn't want you to get nominated for the  :flag: award.

Oh I'm sure it's illegal, I just planned on switching on the headlights whenever the po-po come round.  But my heart is with those LED's...  I think I'm gonna stick with stock now.

I find it really odd that adding LED's (Which draw less current) would actually blow a fuse.  I've got a buddy who is a truck driver and converted all of his lights to LED lights and it actually draws half the load on the alternater with the LED's then it did with the regular bulbs.  Takes less current to turn on a LED then it does to turn on a Filiment bulb.

Might check the bulbs..........

I too would be surprised to find LEDs drawing more current than the lamps. Did you add LEDs or replace the lamps with LEDs. Either way you can run them through a relay controled by the factory lamp switch and this will eliminate your problem.
