No speedo and tach

I just changed the shift solenoids in my 95 gmc 1500...I go to start the truck and speedo and tach aren't working and the gear indicator is not lit up orange...this has happened before and I thought it was because the shift solenoids were bad but I have the same problem with new ones installed...also can't add fluid to refill the tranny because the reservoir is still full even though I drained the tranny to drop the pan....any and all help will be greatly appreciated so thanks in advance

_{Ok ive been doing some research and read that the ignition switch can cause the same types of symptoms i had with my truck...}

_{no speedo and tach}

_{starting in 2nd gear (limp mode)}

_{no transmission fluid pressure}

_{gear selector will move to different gears but will not move no matter how high it revs}
