lifting silverado

I have a 95 silverado short bed and i am going to get some american racing baha wheels. i want to put a little bit bigger wheels on it than the stock size. I am goin to put some kind of lift on it. what kind of lift should i put? i was thinking maybe 2 or 3" would be good enough to clear the tires.

How big of tires are you going to run?

Are you looking for a suspension or body lift? The body lift is the cheaper way out, and if are only looking for a few inches, then that would be the way to go...
