bed storage undercover swing box

My 2005 extended cab had nice large flat areas under the back seats where I could fit a decent size tool box on each side of the hump. My 2014 double cab has almost zero usable space which is very disappointing to me. The hump got much larger and the entire floor under the rear seats slope from the hump almost all the way out to the doors. My same tool boxes dont come close to fitting. Worse part is if you look underneath the truck it seems there is no logical reason the hump is so big.

Anyway enough about my rant.

Has anyone used these bed mounted swing storage boxes like these:

Looks like they get good reviews but since they are plastic I'm wondering how they hold up after a few years and in cold winters.

I also use a tonneau cover so this seems like a good choice for me.

I dont like that you have to drill into the bed to mount them though.

Anyone have comments on these or suggestions on other good storage containers to use on our trucks.

I've never had much luck with anything plastic, so I would say no go but I don't have anything like that. But this is what I have and it has been in a truck for 15 years now and the drawer slides still work and it stays full of tools between 150-200 pounds worth all the time. My 99 truck had it in it for about 150,000 miles and I am at 77,000 in my 11 truck so it has seen some abuse. (I hope I can post the picture now.) It is a Sears Craftsman box.
