What did you pay for your Duramax Diesel?

I would like to know how they are discounting these before I go in to negotiate if I decide to buy it. Let me know what you paid and if that included any rebates from the factory. I will be taking the 0% instead of any rebates. Thanks in advance.

Out here in So. Cal., I think getting the truck for invoice (pre-incentives) is considered a good deal.  You can get the invoice price from edmunds.com or carsdirect.com.

2003 2500HD LT XC SB 2WD DMax/Allison $35,600 ($33,100 after $2,500 rebate).  Other options were XM-radio, locking rear, engine heater, upgraded tires, trailering/camper wiring, HD towing.

Do your math before you sign up for 0% financing......  If you're financing $25K or less, the $3,000 rebate is likely a better deal, with "normal" interest rates running around 6% or less.

Remember, you can get the 0% interest or you can get the rebate.....  not both.

Also, since the Duramax is warranty covered out to 100K miles, you can often cut a deal on extended GMPP.  Worth checking on.  I got 60K/60mo $0-deductible coverage for $900.

Just bought a 03 HD 4x4 Lt, sticker was 46600.  All the bells and whistels. 3000 rebate from chevy 3600 rebate from dealer, 10,000 trade in on my 96 Burban 5.25% financing. I felt this was a good deal. I happen to go in on the last day of the month about 5:00pm they had some dealer insentive going and the guy really wanted to make the top sales list of some sort so I think that helped.  By the way I this truck is amazing:cheers:

So dealers have between 3k and 3500 or so to work with on the price before rebates.....

I would think a little more.

My 03 Stickered @ $45,200

Invoice @ $40,200

Paid $ 39,200  +

Rebate $3,000  + Gm Card Incentive of $ 1,300

Total $ 34,900.

Don't forget they have a dealer holdback of 3-4% of

MSRPthat can be subtracted from invoice for a

price closer to actual dealer cost.

3% of $45,200 = $1,356

Invove of $40,200 - 1,356 = $ 38,844 Dealer cost
