First accident

The SPEEDY

So I was comming home from work yesterday on this really curved two lane road in my little POR (rice).  So anyway I come around the second turn and there is a truck driving in the middle of the road.  I swerve to miss him and run off in a ditch.  So the front end gets back on the road and then the back hits a culvert.  The backend goes airborn and spins about 90* in the air.  As I'm flying threw the air all I can think about is that I just ripped the rear end out from under the car.  I land in the middle of the road and slide sildways some before I stop.  I look back and what do you know, Mr. truck kept on going.  I'm so dang scared that I just drive to a gas station to look at the damage.  I was really supprised  :hail: becuase you can't tell anything even happend unless you get under the car.

I don't know what the law is since he didn't hit me.

??? But it wouldn't do any good becuase I didn't get his plate #.

At least you walked away ok.

####, he drove away.

You could've stopped and if the  police came you could've told them the guy just kept going,  and if they found him they could nick him for Leaving the scene. But witnesses are needed for that to work out. Since you left too, there's no point in bringing it up with the cops now. They might find you just as much guilty as the other guy (atleast they do in VA anyways).

I was so dang scared I didn't know what to do, and I don't have a cell phone so I couldn't call it in.  They probably would give us both tickets and my insurance is already $714 every six months with a perfect record, so I don't need that.
