New to this forum, so forgive me if this question is in the wrong place.

 

I just bought a 2010 sierra 2500hd and am wanting a small lift for it. I see on the tuff country website that the 2011's and up are able to use a 3.5" kit which is not available to the 2007's-2010's. So I am wonder why this is and if it could be retrofitted since this seems like the perfect size lift for me?
