This is sort of off key, but i just got a chevy and i do not know much about them...on the GMC 1500 Sierra or even the Silverado 1500 Can you raise the front without any aftermarket? as far as the tortion bars and then just put blocks in the rear?

Yes, you can crank the torsion bars up some. Many have done that. I wouldn't max them out or anything to extreme, if it were me.

For the rear, you can get bigger (taller) lift blocks. If I remember correctly, the factory ones are 2 inches. Not sure on how many different sizes are made though.
