MyLink issue usb music stuck on individual artist

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem:

 

Starting yesterday when I play music from the usb drive I use in my truck the system will only play one artist. For example if the system starts playing music by Bob that is all it will play unless I manually browse the list of artists via the file view menu. If I try to skip forward just bob, if I try to go back just bob, removing the usb device and plugging it back in makes no difference, using an alternate usb slot makes no difference and using a different usb device results in the same issue. I have been playing music from my usb devices since I bought the truck in June with no issue so this struck me as a little odd.

 

Anyway if anyone has had this issue and resolved it please chime in.

My radio has given me a few glitches lately as well, mainly with the stored favorites disappearing for a few days and then coming back out of the blue. I use a SD card and for the most part if works fine but sometimes the system will not recognize for the first 10mins I am in the truck. My only thought would be to erase all the songs off of you USB and then load them back on and keep the mp3's all in one folder, no subfolders. You may already have your music like that but if not it would not hurt to try. I would love to figure out the album art and why some songs show it while others don't but I have given up on that one.
