2008 silverado 1500 driver turn signal inop

Hey guys, just bought the truck, it has 130k miles on it and the driver turn signal will not operate. I get running lights, but no emergency flashers or front driver turn signal. all other lights and blinkers work fine. Changed the bulbs and still no flashing. checked all the fuses inside the cab and engine bay that had to do with the flashers and none were blown. only thing else i can think of is the flasher relay but If i have rear blinker then that should be ok right? The gauge cluster indicator flashes normal speed for a second then flashes fast as if the bulb is burnt. wires look to be intact. Thank you for the help.
