84 K1500 6.2 Engine Surge help

I noticed my 1984 k1500 6.2 surging pretty bad while driving. i pulled over and filled up on diesel thinking that might have been it speaking i was super low, but since then it has been worse. i noticed an oil pressure drop. my truck at normal operating temp usually is at around 60 on my pressure gauge and its was down to just below 40 when i noticed it. at the house i realized it looks like someone put my truck on a lift and power washed the underneath of my truck with oil lol. it surges only while im on the gas pedal (at least i only noticed it when i was accelerating or keeping a steady speed) and it even cut out and stalled 2 or three times. its leaking somewhere from like above the torque converter around there i think. theres too much oil to tell... Could this be a HPO problem?? i was thinking maybe my seals were bad? how do i check the HPO Rail?? thanks ahead!
