No driver side window controls

To begin I have a 2004 silverado LS std cab. When I got the truck the guy said it needed a window regulator, which it did but he neglected to tell me that the DDM was fried(and I mean charcoal) right where the main power/ground and window polarity grounds are. I got a new DDM, door harness, window motor/regulator, and thought it would work, it didn't, well it kind of did. Switches for passenger window, mirror and lock would work and blinker in driver's mirror would work but not the lock mirror or window on driver's side. Did a little reading and found the DDM needed reprogramming, had that done a dealership but still nothing. Was running errands after dark and noticed lights on the switches would flicher. When the switch lights were off passenger side would work like before but nothing else when lights were on the locks would work. After awhile lights stayed on. Checked through all fuses, all good. Checked the DDM(marked LT DOOR on diagram) circuit breaker/relay and when I pulled it out it fell apart, everything still works like it did before. Borrowed the relay from passenger side and put it in and still nothing. The fuse block where the relay goes in is a little charred. Took a test light to the 4 main wires and the ones that are suppose to be negative are correct and the ones that are suppose to be positive are correct (can't remember which is which atm)

Question #1- where do I go from here on what to check?

Question #2- how does that even happen to the DDM/relay?

I may be missing some info but I believe I covered everything, if I think if anything I will add it in a reply. Any and all questions welcome and thank you in advance because any info or help HAS to be a step forward

Ok so I think I have a short because now I'm having battery drain issues. Battery stays charged fine when unhooked but if I just shut the truck off and walk away it will barely start after sitting 5 hrs and will ntt start at the 6 hr mark
