Soap under rear passenger sill plate.

Recommended Posts

I woke up to see some puddling on the ground near my rear passenger door. turns out somehow fter washing it a week ago theres a massive amount of soap or atleast a good bit on the small plate. I have no clue how it go tthere on the bottomside of the door but I wiped it off. Although some made it into the seal. I'm wondering if theres a way I can just spray it with water to get it out then like blowdry it dry or if I'd damage anything.

Suggestions? (can't check if its leaking or not until this whole area is dry.

Thanks

Hello, is that picture after removing the step plate by the door? My weather stripping is brutal on the bottom of my rear doors and allows a lot of water in while washing my truck, I really hope I don't have this issue happening as well.

I'd use an air hose or a shop vac that's able to handle water and continue looking into the issue and if it continues definitely take it to the dealer! That's no good
