New Member,,, with a question

Hello, yes I'm new, and the reason I'm here is I am after some info I can't seem to nail down after countless hours of searching. Maybe someone here that reads this has been through it and would be kind enough to help...... Here goes, I have a 99 Z-71 Silverado 4x4 5.3 litre with a blown transmission, code is 9LPD. ....Nothing new there huh... I have found a 2KCD trans just down the road for a good price. 2002 5.3 Suburban. On Gods green internet I can't determine if those trans will swap, somebody has to have the low down,, or know where to get the info????? Thanks.

Welcome! I would think the transmission would work, but I can't say for sure. I'm sure someone here knows for sure.

If it's a 5.3 it will swap 99-03
