If it wasn't so hot out I'd work on removing some of the stickers and some debadging. Not gonna happen today tho.

did you do any tuning because you changed to 4.10s?

Not yet but I need to. Everything is off some. Tranny shifting, speedo etc...

Looking badass! Out of curiosity what gear ratio did you have before?

Sorry Sean. Missed this... Truck was stock with 3.08 gears. It drives awesome with 4.10's. I couldn't imagine trying to drive it around with 3.08's and the added weight/size of the new tires. It was kinda sluggish with 33's and 3.08's at times.

So ever since I had lift n tires and gears done I've been needing to recal my speedo. Was off a lot. Finally got the balls to tune it with a Diablo Intune i2 yesterday. Did the 91 tune with corrected gear ratio, corrected tire size, firm shifts and DOD off. Took a ride today to a buddies house and this is what I am getting for mpg now. I was pleasantly surprised.

Solid 18 mpg combined highway/town.

Cruise on 70 = 18.1mpg

Cruise on 75 = 16.2mpg

Off highway back roads to his house... get this...over 19mpg!!

Tranny shifts way better. No V4 crap. All around better response and drive. Never expected this good of mpg. I can live with it for sure!

Hell yeah man. Truck looks good. I'm debating on getting the bumpers and grille color matched. I like a little bit of chrome, but that grille you have looks freakin good. I definitely need gears and a tune tho. Those numbers look appealing

I am certainly considering it. But honestly I am more than happy with how it runs now and I'm of the mindset of..."If it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality. Time will tell tho. Was about to go Black Bear tune as well. If they can promise me it'll be better than what it is now then I may just go for it! Otherwise, honestly, why bother? It's not a sports car. Nor do I want one. : )

I thought the same thing when I first installed the canned tune, but I'm glad that I got the custom one! It is so much different and the driveability was even better.

So I have had a minor rub ever since the new tires/wheels were added. Only rubbed in reverse at full crank but it bugged the crap out of me. You'd be surprised how often you back out of a driveway or parking spot. lol

So I added a Zone 1.5" body lift. Issue resolved! Very happy. I am still stubbing my toes tripping climbing in tho. Haha.

I'll get some side by side pre and post body lift to see the difference tomorrow.
